Southwest Texas Junior College

Southwest Texas Junior College (STJC) is a two-year, state community college with several regional locations, including one in Del Rio. It offers many two-year degree programs, dual credit programs with area high schools, technical programs and workforce training education to fit the needs of area students and businesses. One example is the Aviation Maintenance Program, which is an FAA-approved Level 2 Certificate program jointly developed between Del Rio community leaders, the College and Laughlin Air Force Base officials.

The institution has a partnership with Sul Ross State University to allow students to easily transfer to SRSU after completing two years at STJC.
