Promoting the tourism, convention and hotel industries are a priority in Del Rio
Businesses and organizations have access to a local hotel occupancy tax (HOT) which is designed to support convention and tourism centers, promotional and tourist advertising of the City, promotion of the arts, historical preservation, and program support for events and activities that attract tourists to the City of Del Rio. A complete listing of the qualifications for allowable expenditures of HOT funding can be found with the City of Del Rio. All interested parties must submit an application with the City of Del Rio to obtain HOT funds.
