Texas’s Export Trade Up 49% in March 2022

Texas reported a more than 49% increase in export trade in March 2022 over the same month last year and exceeded the year-to-date 2021 trend by more than 40% — according to data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) released May 4.
In March 2022, Texas reported export trade amounting to $42.1 billion, an increase over the $28.3 billion in trade exports reported in March 2021. Texas reported March 2022 year-to-date export trade of $112.4 billion, versus $80.5 billion year to date in March 2021.
